A song about perspective, trust and releasing what we cannot control.
The song began as a fast, happy bass-loop idea. The first 2021 backtrack now makes me smile — it sounds like an old keyboard to me.
In 2025 I rebuilt it and could hear how far I had come.
While recording the vocals I was in serious financial difficulty. My phone kept ringing about overdue rent. I kept recording. In a strange way, I was practising the message I was singing: let go, trust, and keep moving through the moment in front of you.
A rough early version and the beginning of the idea.
A new backtrack showed the difference years of learning had made.
The vocals were recorded while real life was asking me to live the words.
