What does choosing love actually look like?
I was surrounded by people speaking about faith while I was thinking deeply about what love looks like in everyday thought, speech and behaviour. The title eventually changed from Like Jesus to Love Is.
I made the FL Studio backtrack in 2021 and kept it.
In 2025 I added the vocals and made the video myself. I was unemployed and struggling financially; my own phone was broken, so I recorded with a borrowed phone whose screen was badly cracked. I could hardly see myself while filming — but I made it anyway.
The musical foundation that stayed with the song.
The song was finally completed.
No production team, no ideal equipment — just the decision to make the message visible.
