A reggae experiment that changed its own meaning while I was making it.
I love reggae and wanted to try making my own reggae song. The first concept was called Living in the Dark. I built the backtrack around that idea.
When I finally recorded it, the song changed direction and became Now Is All There Is — a song about the present moment, perception and choice.
The original title and starting point.
The style itself was part of the experiment.
The meaning shifted during the act of recording.
